After our (well…mostly my) shopping around to find our perfect photographer, I ended up right back where I started. I can feel confident in our choice, after looking around a little, and being able to see just how far above the others our choice is!
I’m proud to say that we now have a photographer… Virginia Hall from Moment by Moment Photography! I’m so excited to have her as such an important part of our day. I know she will capture wonderful photos that we will love for years to come. She is very professional, easy to communicate with, and very excited about the work she does (plus she does a wonderful job, of course!). AND she is willing to travel to Jekyll Island from Atlanta!

A few tips for those brides looking to hire their perfect photographer:
1. Shop around. Luckily, most photographers advertise their work right on their website. This makes shopping around a lot easier on you! Look around and find what style of photography you like best. If you love photojournalistic photos, be sure to seek out a photographer that loves them, too, and so on.
2. Check out their reviews. I recommend requesting a few referrals of clients they’ve shot in the past. You can get answers to any questions you may have from their point of view, which may influence your decision.
3. Schedule early. Many brides put high priority on their photographer, so to choose from the best, be sure to start your shopping sooner rather than later.
4. Talk with your favorites. Get to know your best options a little better. You’ll want to make sure you like them as a person and that your personalities work well. You’ll need to trust them!
