Occasionally I get to catch a few moments of The Bert Show on Q100 on my way around town before heading into the store. And yesterday morning, I couldn’t help but stay tuned in for the dress drama between 2 Atlanta sisters and their late mother’s bridal gown. I couldn’t believe my ears! If you missed the segment, here it is:
Sister vs. Sister: Who Should Wear Their Mother’s Bridal Gown?
My advice would be similar to the last caller. Since her older sister is so unwilling to share the heirloom, be the bigger sister and search out a similarly styled dress that suites your tastes. Many of the bridal gowns here at Bel Fiore aren’t made until they are ordered, so that gives our brides the chance to create a custom look that more reflects their personalities and what they prefer (or pay tribute to an heirloom gown). Whether it’s adding buttons, lace, or lengthening the train, many of our designers are flexible to accomodate our brides, and the possibilities are endless.
So, Lee – If you can’t seem to convince your sister to share your mother’s dress with you, head our way and we’ll do our best to make your dress dreams come true (and that’s for all of you other Atlanta Brides, too!). Let us handle the details!
Any other advice for Lee?

Happy Planning!
