Wedding Accessories: 5 Tips to Look Your Best
1. Be Prepared For Fittings.
Be sure to have any undergarments you may plan on wearing, as well as your shoes, with you. If time has gotten away from you and your shoes aren’t bought yet, bring a pair that has the same heel height that you plan on wearing that day. Confused about a bra? Talk with our expert seamstress about your options. Most Bel Fiore Brides choose to just have bra cups sewn in to their dress by our seamstress.
2. Back it Up.
Be sure to check your look from behind. Since you’ll be facing forward through most of the ceremony, that leaves your guests staring at your back. If you love the back of your dress, be careful of which veil you choose. Two or more tiers can cloud the back of your dress and take away from your beautiful train you may have loved when you chose your gown.
3. Keep it Separated.
If you are wearing a veil and headpiece and plan on taking one off for the reception, be sure that they are not attached. Keep the headpiece/comb/flower separate from your veil and this allows you to keep your decoration in your hair and lose the veil. This may come in handy if you planning on dancing and hugging!
4. Bustle it Up.
Be sure that your bustle for your train is sufficient enough to allow you to be active. Since you’ll be dancing and socializing, you won’t want to risk the chance of your bustle breaking and have damage to your train. If something does happen, be sure to bring your gown to Bel Fiore as soon as possible for cleaning and preservation. Don’t leave any spots sitting!

5. Matchy Matchy?
Can’t find white or ivory shoes you really like? Want shoes you know you’ll wear again? My advice is wear what you want! Many of my brides wear shoes that match their wedding colors or a print they just love.
My last bit of advice: You’re the bride! These decisions are up to you, it’s YOUR wedding! Have fun and be expressive of who you are what you love. Have fun and enjoy!
Happy Planning!
